rain, rain – go away!!

will the rain ever stop? i tell you what… someone lied to me when they said it was summer in the southern hemisphere!! i don’t mind the idea of spending the coming holidays in the sun or by the beach - i could trade the snow and peppermint mochas for that!! but spending the holidays in the rain – it is not exactly magical!?!?

to miss shannon wood… who has assumed the coveted position of being one of my friends! love you girl!! and am pleased that you are missing me, i know wal-mart/target just isn’t the same without me, let alone how much of a bore it is (not to mention – terribly sad) to stuff yourself with mexican food all alone. we will hang out soon love!!

a call home…

wow, just got off the phone with my dear friend ashley gerber!! so much is happening back home, it makes me miss it too much!! her baby girl is growing soo much and now says some pretty cute little words… my fav would have to be “wow” – all the joy and excitment of a child wrapped in one, three letter word. ashley fills me in on all the recent engagements… tis that season in life where everyone starts to settle down and couple up. lord… you are doing so much. how i love talking to friends back home, and even though i know i am thousands of miles away – i somehow feel apart of it all.
